TeX Live 2013 for Debian
I am currently preparing a new upload of TeX Live 2013 (prerelease) for Debian. This will bring several new changes to the Debian layout, following upstream changes:
- texlive-doc-? packages will disappear, the contents is merged into the texlive-lang-* packages
- /usr/share/texlive/texmf/ is gone, all files are merged into /usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/
- the language collections have been restructured and the number reduced
- building is based on the daily tlnet/tlpretest archives, not on the svn checkout
More news on the upcoming TeX Live release I will post later on.
The versions of the source packages that will be included an uploaded in hopefully short time will be
- texlive-base, texlive-lang, texlive-extra: 2013.04.20.20130520-1
- texlive-binaries: 2013.20130516.30500-1
- luatex: 0.76.0-1
- tex-common: 4.03
- context: 2013.04.20.20130517-1
Since texlive-lang will contain new packages, texlive-lang will have to go through the NEW queue, which will take some time. In the mean time all arch=all packages and binary packages for amd64 can be obtained, together with the source packages, at

Warning for everyone: do not do a partial upgrade of libkpathsea6, it will break your TeX system. As long as texlive-lang is in NEW queue, please add the above mentioned deb line to your sources file, otherwise no complete upgrade will be possible.
